It’s not only skiing and snowboarding. Staying at Hotel Ischgl also gives you the chance to do one or several sledge rides. Wintersports are also fun off piste. The night-time toboggan run in Ischgl is one of a kind.
With seven kilometres of tobogganing on offer and at 950 meters altitude difference this is one of the longest routes in the Alps. From around mid-December until around the start of April it is open every Monday and Thursday when the weather is suitable. On these evenings, the Silvrettabahn brings toboggan enthusiasts up the mountain from 7pm.
The neighbouring ski resort of Kappl also offers a six kilometres long natural toboggan run. Every Tuesday, this one is illuminated as well and offers tobogganing between 7pm and midnight. There is also live music, a skidoo run for kids, kids care and a chance to win a ride on a pistenbully.
Also See offers night tobogganing every Tuesday on a six kilometres track between 7.30 pm and midnight. The run is groomed with special machines and is perfect for both athletic sportsmen and families.
